The forest.

I walked through the forest To a log cabin. While the eleven year old boy took long strides through the pine forest he could see the beams of sun shining through the trees. He said it looks like sun shining through water. The weather was so sunny that if you were wearing ten long sleeved shirts you could still get sunburnt. In the distance I could see trees that looked like they were lined up in a phalanx. As I walked by it felt as though the world was mine. When I got further into the forest I could hear the birds singing to me, then I knew I was close. I could see the clearing and the wisps of smoke coming out the chimney, I definitely knew I was where I wanted to be. The beautiful spruce cabin looked so nice and homely……. but was it ?
